I miss Turkiye, alot. Its been almost a year since I stepped into a world of Anatolians, yogurt, bread and salads. Grandma was smitten with the handsome young tourguide, true turkish. I was smitten with how relaxed the holiday was, nevermind long busrides as long as i get to sit in front behind the driver. And i want to eat my favourite yogurt topped with opiom(?) seeds again! I still can remember the roads to Taksim from our hotel in Istanbul. Chestnuts boys lined the streets, and you can watch the city view from this small desolate hill near the hotel.
One of the best picture picture scene was this crossroad, perfected with roadsigns and barrenland. It was on a sleepy 8hr drive across horizons, mountains and dry farms when we spotted it, exclaiming with amazement. The rest of the bus nodded drowsily to the constant drone of the humming engine, oblivious to our excitement. I still blame mum sometimes for the constrains over the camera on what to take and what not to take. Stubborn thing.
I wont forget my favourite hotel, a little swiss inn near Cappadocia, the land of the beautiful horses. It was a quiet little hotel beside a petrol station on a long stretch of lonely road. Night falls and the rooms would be lit with eerie sensor lights that flashed and flicker. Had a real bit of adventure tiptoeing around the house with Ken, half scared to death of the faces from the old paintings. We climbed creaky stairs that led to kitchen sculleries and storerooms. But spooky as it was then, no doubt it was a pretty little place that i will never forget. At 11pm, we snuggled around on the couches in a circle with the older folks and beer, telling all too familar jokes and stories about prime ministers, love and politics. The next morning, it snowed. As we drove away, the map of the house firmly etched itself in my mind. Im definitely coming back here again, someday.
I was a whiny childish girl with a gummy smile last year i was in Turkiye. It didnt matter much, really. Im not sure if anyone remembers Turkiye like I do now. But just for another week there, i wouldnt mind parading silly catwalks down hotel rooms again. Mooney, Cecilia, Ken and Sherrie would have know best, how absoutely embarrasing!
But for one more week, i should think, Its alright.
ps: Miss you guys! ;)
/edit. actually, thinking back... What i really missed most is the getaway from everything right here where now im sitting. home.

Sometimes its hard not to fall in love with the one who painfully spent the night hand crafting wax into a rose. A project I thought was too difficult, he did it, in less than a day. And Im feeling something warm & funny inside me where the place my heart was suppose to be, his burnt fingers are more than enough to tell me Im worth it.
Sigh, then again. Something doesnt feel quite right.

A very grumpy boy who took a boring hour's busride, brought me home clothes, got off at an unfamilar bustop, climbed this overhead bridge and walked halfway into school to surprise me in the scorchinggggg hot sun, just to find out that I already walked out of school from another sideroad... One of those days i really feel like calling up the mechanic to fix everything up for me. Im skipping on stepping stones far by too small for comfort. If it was'nt for the daily fixups by Stallion, i would have fall fell and fallen. I need time, to finish what's due, to sit in bliss ignorance of the world passing by. I always liked the idea of solitude street photography, but then i get shy. One of the best things that happened this week was getting permission to skip out at 9pm to meet the qigebages. Then again, it feels like old days and it makes the Now feel so...... different.
Ps: We're all too sick to the core to even argue with you. You played us, I should think now's our turn. Brilliant game, hope you're having fun with chances.

ITS NOT MY FAULT I FELL SICK DONT YELL AT ME.
All i see is flashing lights around me and voices in a fuzz. My head's hurting, my voice gone down to a croak. What was meant to be a pretend turned out real and that scares me because it means having to drag myself to to doctor. I can taste, i can't breathe. But still thank God, i can taste.
What's wrong with me. My immune system is breaking down. Allergies, viruses and aches. What should be coming isnt arriving either. I hate school but i want to go to school today because its the first physic test im sure to score and i missed it. And i just check my organiser which clearly in black was printed, English Oral Grand Audi 1345hours. Is that prelims already (?)
My body is aching, im not even sure if im glibbering now.
Maybe this is all exagggerations, maybe im actually fine.
Its not my fault i fell sick. Please, stop asking me questions.

i sneak over for a quick peep and measured the heelaz, yes it is 4" yay me.
Now, I NEED a new bag. something big, casual, slouchy....y'knw Revival? im thinking of getting a designer/tailor/bagmaker(?) to remake that bag one day cuz its my mum's secondary school bag wayyyyy awesome now its dirty and bleaching actually takes some of the print off yikes.
really wished i had a camera now, i've got burning inspirations and shit its horrid when you just cant..yank it all out. there's a camera fair going on at plazasingapura and i think it would be prolly over by the time i actually saved up $429 for the canon ixus. i have $9 for the week.
What camera to get, i ask me. I dont know how to shop for cameras, really. the only way for my to actually, like a camera is to take it out on a test run for a week before i actually decide. which isnt the best idea cuz who would want to let me do that?

I'm allergic to something, God knows what.
But its scary suddenly seeing my face......... ohmzod i cant tell you the details, im getting my 62618xx attack of goosebumps today already shit. I ended up missing edge and Batman the dark knight, cuz people would die of fright if they saw how bad my allergy was ): ended up watching cartoon batman on telly while recovering from self-fright. (i looked into the mirror, that's why i needed fright-therrraphy.) Thank God its gone down now, i rewarded myself with a pair of 4"? heels at C&K (: (: Yay me.
Visited Ralph&Pixie today. Cleaned their cage again and my word, what alot of poop for two small furballs. They are like realllllly cute aha i cant stop telling everybody about them precious. It tickles to hold them both at the same time in your hands. Dont underestimate the tiny sizes, its all crazy when they decide to play catch and run off in different directions at the same time! I let them out for a run and manage to take some pictures of the fuzzywuzzies, upload next time kkk!

Went for a grrreat game of Monopoly with the J-bruthers and hell yeah, i won! Haha, jeremy doesnt knows we took like maybe 1K each from the bank when he went for a poop. Somehow i think little Joseph lost the money while i got rich from hitting the Free Parking for a 1.2K (: Grins. Sore losers, i had to bid 9OO for one house?! Really never hear before. Hmpf.
But, i still won hahahahaha.
Anyway, been using the slow internet to deal with some frustrating online shoppers.
SO ANNOYING.

That was what i wrote for last christmas'07 on the christmas wall.
(just for fun really!)
But thinking back, no i dont really need that. Simply cuz i've already got more that just sugar and spice. (dear PapaPaul Gladys gave me a packet of sugar hidden in a paperunderwear message at camp haha.) Just that sometimes Sharmian gets really greedy and eats too much candy canes, and she fails to remember who made those yummy minty candy canes and then ta-da, she gets a toothache.
Year'ohseven was filled with some sweetest memories and many blessings.
Backtracking.
when i first started out at the beginning of the year, i got stuck in a class i really didnt want to be in. But Jesus, Never, Ever, Fails to open a new window when the door to pure sciences shut me out. i remembered, so many people prayed for me throughout the holidays. Region QiGeBaGe was there for encouragements and smiles to pull me through and make sure i was okay in this new class. One day, i went to check the class register. i was surprised to find that i was labelled under Index Number Seven. somehow, the number really spoke to me. it was as if, God's telling me that "This is part of My Great Plan for your life, dear child. Its Me who put you here and no, i wont ever leave you. Trust Me." i wasnt disappointed, not one bit. New friends poured into my life tumbling laughing and having fun fun fun under the sun was really the party line. my only regret was that i somehow lost that connection with some of the old ones. i never regretted being in 3cr ever. Spaces suddenly filled themselves up quickly and i was happy. everything seemed perfect really, haha.
But i forgot the One who gave me all this. i forgot everything He did. i forgot my closest friend in this midst of going wild. Slowly i began to fade. i could imagine how heartbroken Jesus was then. For a couple of months, i backslided and rather party elsewhere. Jesus never forsake me. He sent angels through friends in church to encourage me constantly when my results dipped. He sent love through smses and letters when i was un-seenable and un-reachable by Qigebage. He sent angels to call me, to pull me back up when im feeling low. i remember reading those messages one day and suddenly realising, all this while, things were never really perfect. Not without Jesus. In school, people i didnt really know came up to me and said things like, "You are really fun crazy and friendly, no wonder you are getting popular." i felt terrible on hearing those things. Fake smiles had to come in. i actually left my everything behind me for the world. i would sit at bustops and by the school lake in the early morning before 6am alone, writing out this pain. i could fill sheets of foolscap papers watching the sunrise and the breeze gently sifting through.
God always, always makes a way.
